Peterson, Verna Mae 4-9-1917 1-3-2006 b. Windom ks McPherson co, d. McPherson ks "", D/O Clive and Leona Rush Myers. She was a 1935 graduate of Windom High School, attended summer school at McPherson College and received her teaching certificate. A resident of McPherson, she was a homemaker and taught at various one-room country schools in the Windom and Conway communities. She attended Windom United Methodist Church and Monitor Community Church of the Brethren.
On June 1, 1941, she married Monroe Peterson in Windom. He died Jan. 24, 1988. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Keith LeRoy; and a grandson.
