She was a register nurse at Hodgeman County Health Care Center for more than 30 years. On Dec. 11, 1944, she married Donald Dansel in Great Bend. He died Aug. 15, 1994. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Blattner; two sisters, Debra Taylor and Marjorie Briggs; and a great-grandchild.

He belonged to Wilroads Christian Church, Dodge City, Mason, charter member of Jetmore Saddle and Roping Club, Hodgeman County Fair Board, Hodgeman County Extension Board, 4-H horse leader and the American Legion, all in Jetmore. He served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by a son, Earl Wilbur Lonnberg; four brothers, Jim, Joe, Ted and Charles; and a sister, Isabelle Westfall.

A resident of Dodge City, she had worked as the deputy county treasurer in Hodgeman County and then worked for the postal service carrying mail, until retiring.
She belonged to First Baptist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, serving as Past Worthy Matron, Women of the Moose Lodge and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, all at Dodge City. She was preceded in death by a brother, Gail Hendrickson; and a grandson.

Warden, Velda Maurine 7-9-1934 9-24-2005 b. Jetmore ks Hodgeman co, d. wichita, Died from a long struggle with cancer. D/O Durward and Helen Craghead. She graduated from Jetmore High School. She was united in marriage to Roland Warden on Dec. 23, 1951 at Jetmore UMC. Mrs. Warden was active in the Wichita Jr. Golf Foundation for 30 years, serving as President of the Parents and Volunteers Group for 20 years. She was also active and held several offices in the Wichita Ladies Golf Association and Pawnee Prairie Ladies Golf. She also worked for 15 years as a merchandiser for American Greetings. She was a member of West Heights United Methodist Church, Wichita. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A lifetime Hodgeman County resident, she was a past postal worker, school teacher and co-owner of Winget Service and she worked for the Hodgeman County Clerk and the Republican, Jetmore.
She belonged to the First Baptist Church, American Baptist Women, the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary, and Senior Citizen, all at Hanston. He was a member of the Jolly Dozen Club, Burdett. On Oct 11, 1942, she married James L. Winget at El Paso, Texas. He died Sept. 3, 2003. She was preceded in death by a brother, Henry L. Whipple; and a sister, Alberta Regier.
