Banbury, James Charles 9-6-1917 5-22-2005 b. Pratt ks Pratt co, d. wichita, He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II,burial, with military honors by the U.S. Navy. S/O J.C. and Emma Evans Banbury.He owned and operated John Banbury Auction and Real Estate. He was an auctioneer for the Pratt County Fair and a founding board member. He recently received the Steve Kraisinger Award from the Pratt County Fair Association.In the 1950s he and his brother Art owned and operated the International dealership and Desoto and Plymouth dealership in Pratt for many years. On Sept. 1, 1946, he married Leola Childs, the mother of Ray and Roger Banbury. She died in 1955. On May 10, 1956, he married Velma June Smitherman, the mother of Jerry and Ted Bertram, at Raton, N.M. She died Oct. 6, 1996.He was  preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Art, Clay and Lloyd Banbury; and two sisters, Helen Smith and Beulah Hayes.
Catlin, Vera Rozella 12-9-1921 8-15-2005 b. Costs ks Pratt co, d. Pratt ks pratt co, D/O Zachariah V. and Molly Marie Dodd Greenstreet. A resident of Pratt for four years, moving from Minneola, she was a retired cosmetologist. She belonged to First Christian Church, Minneola.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Carolyn Sue Catlin; and three sisters, Eva McKown, Edith Powers and Ethel M. Staats. Cremation is planned. Memorial graveside service will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Greenlawn Cemetery, Pratt.
Cox, Nada June 6-21-1914  1-19-2006 b. Wellington ks Sumner co, d. Pratt ks Pratt co, D/O John A. and Grace F. Shofner Tritt. On Dec. 24, 1933, she married Lloyd F. Cox at Pratt. He died June 14, 1984. She was preceded in death by a son, John Cox; two brothers, I. J. Tritt and Gene Tritt; a sister, Rinda Smith; and two grandchildren.

He was an oil field driller, drilling superintendent and co-owner of Coppinger Drilling Co. On April 8, 1939, he married Rosella May Thompson in Hoisington. She died May 11, 2005. He graduated from Friends University and the University of Kansas School of Medicine. A resident of Pratt, he was a family physician. He belonged to First United Methodist Church, Pratt. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving as a lieutenant JG MC USN. He was preceded in death by a brother, Everett Wayne.

4-3-1959 1-3-2005 b.  Pratt ks Pratt co, d. Wichita, Died surrounded by her family and friends, following a courageous ten year battle with breast cancer. Daughter of Charles G. and Hermina (Kuhn) Dipman. Penni graduated from Pratt High School in 1977 and has lived in Hutchinson, Kokomo, Indiana, and most recently, Wichita. As a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton parish, she was overwhelmed with an outpouring of support, love, and friendship. She was involved in breast cancer awareness including Relay For Life, Race For The Cure, and Circle Of Friends. Penni was preceded in death by her father; sister, Cheryl Clinesmith; brother-in-law, LeRoy Fenwick and nephew, Mike Fenwick. 
Green, Robert Kirkland 4-30-1921 8-9-2005 b. & d. Pratt ks Pratt co, 'Pud' S/O William Robert and Anna Kirkland Green. He was a third generation lumberman for W.R. Green Lumber Co. for 55 years. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran, serving during World War II as a Buck Sgt. He was preceded in death by two sisters, Margaret Maxwell and Kathryn Wise.
Haworth, Mary Elizabeth 2-23-1915 10-4-2005 b. Havelock NE Lancaster co, d. Cunningham ks Kingman co, D/O Simeon and Louisa Eisle Long. A Pratt resident since 1978, moving from Omaha, Neb., she was homemaker.
Keiter, Katherine 11-27-1906 1-23-2006 b. Goodwell ok Texas co, d. Maple City ks Cowley co, D/O George and Anna Welsch Welli. She was preceded in death by four brothers, Matt, Mike, George and John Welli and three sisters, Mary and Katherine Welli and Anna Udry.
Mayhew, Forrest "Neal" 11-4-1925 5-17-2005 b. Strawn Tx Palo Pinto co, d. Wichita, Neal S/O Sam and Erma Kerr Mayhew. A resident of Pratt, he owned and operated Mayhews Restaurant, from 1981 to 1993.  U.S. Army as a paratrooper with the 101st Airborne during World War II. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth; and a sister, Barbara Warren.
Moon, Anna B. 10-24-1912 10-9-2005 b. Toronto ks Woodson co, d. Pratt ks Pratt co, D/O Charles Everett and Flossie Irene Adkins Burns. A resident of Pratt since 1948, moving from Marion, she was a homemaker.  On Aug. 15, 1933, she married Maynard J. Moon in Virgil. He died Aug. 26, 2004. She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles Lee Burns; and two sisters, Lois Griffith and Leone Frakes.
Morris, Mary L. 6-8-1925 10-23-2005 b. Tuttle ND Kidder co, d. Rowlett TX Dallas co, D/O Albert E. and Lilly Maude Edwards Cook. On Aug. 27, 1944, she married Dwight L. Morris in Pratt. He died July 15, 1989. She was preceded in death by a son, Kirk Morris.

Omo, Elmer Dean 1-26-1918 1-10-2006  b. Pratt ks Pratt co, d. McAllen TX Hidalgo co, S/O Elsworth D. and Eisle Rezeau Omo. He was a retired U.S. Postal Service Employee.  He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. He married Flora Mae Hull. She died May 28, 1982.

She belonged to Faith Chapel, Pratt. On July 10, 1928, she married Charles W. McKinzie. He died July 19, 1967. She later married Warren D. Parr on July 27, 1969 in Pratt. He died April 16, 1987. She was preceded in death by two sons; a brother; three sisters; and five grandchildren.
