Reid, James A. 11-3-1915 9-18-2005 b. Basil ks Kingman co, d. Kingman ks """, S/O Benjamin F. and Clara M. Bell Reid. A resident of the Kingman community most of his life, he was a retired oil well pumper and mechanic. He belonged to Kingman Christian Church, Veteran of Foreign Wars, both at Kingman, 40th Bomb Group Association and was a former member of Hunt Cemetery board. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II. On April 19, 1942, he married Letha J. Cole at Kingman. She died Jan. 30, 1995. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ralph and Bennie; four sisters, Wanda Allender, Gladys Cheatum, Venus Mitchell and Iola Reid; and a great-great-grandchild.
