Lundberg, Myrtle Y. 5-25-1916 1-2-2006 b. Windom ks McPherson co, d. McPherson ks McPherson co, D/O John E. and Emma Carolina Olson/Carlson Larson. She attended McPherson County schools and was a 1934 graduate of McPherson High School. A lifetime resident of McPherson County, she was a homemaker and a sales clerk and decorator for J.C. Penney's, McPherson for more than 18 years. She belonged to Trinity Lutheran Church, McPherson, Esther Guild of the church and Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. On Sept. 1, 1940, she married Earl D. Lundberg in rural McPherson. He died June 27, 2002.She was preceded in death by three brothers, George, Elmer and Victor Larson; and three sisters, Adeline Larson, Martha Hultburg and Freda Falk.

Phillips, Wayne C.

9-9-1923 8-20-2005 b. Newton ks Harvey co, d. Hutchinson ks reno co, S/O Joe and Gladys Miller Phillips. He graduated in 1941 from Sedgwick High School. A former resident of Sedgwick, McPherson and Kearney, Neb., he was a farmer, former partner of the Sedgwick Alfalfa Mills, worker for Field Queen Co., and he retired from Hesston Corporation and the Maize Corporation as a bailer specialist. He belonged to First United Methodist Church, United Methodist Men and State Fair Promenaders, all at Hutchinson. He was a former member of the Hesston Shoe Scuffers. In June of 1951, he married Mary Lee Johnson at McPherson. She died in January of 2000. On April 29, 2001, he married Barbara Jean Bennett at Hutchinson. She survives. He was preceded in death by his mother; father; stepfather, W.M. "Pokey" Fry; and a sister, Hazel Baldwin.
