Paul Evans was a Government Representative for Airplane Procurement at the Boeing Company in Wichita, KS, retiring after 45 years of civil service. He served during World War II, flying with the Army Air Corps most memorably serving as a tail gunner in the Pacific Islands during the last years of the war. Paul was a fitness nut in his middle and later years being an avid runner and walker as long as his knees held out. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church, St. Joseph, MO, St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Wichita, Wichita Blue Lodge A.F. & A.M., Lion's Club, Wichita Track Club and VFW Post #6766, the 40th Bombardment Group, and the Over 55 Club. |
