Hamblen County Cemetery Records published by the Hamblen County Historical Society, which has generously granted permission for it to be placed online with the Hamblen County Tennessee Tombstone Project.
Listings were typed by Albert M. Thomas. Many thanks to Mr. Thomas for securing the Society's consent and for typing the listings. Members of the Hamblen Co. Genealogical Society began transcribing cemeteries in 1986 and enumeration of all inscriptions was completed in 1996. Members involved: Mary Miller Ayers, Alvin Barton, Billie H. Inman, Marguerite Williams, Grace McGinnis, Mary Frank Helms, Avonia Thress and Sandra Penland Beesley.
