Frank Boykin Cemetery
Angelina County

Tombstone Photographs

This cemetery was started by the Francis Monroe "Frank" Boykin, one of Sterling Boykin's sons. It was started as a family plot near their home.

Directions: To locate this cemetery take Highway 69 to Zavalla, Texas. At the red light, turn onto Highway 63. About 5 miles outside of Zavalla , turn left on to County Road 345 (a dirt road). Go about 3/10ths of a mile and turn right on the first road on the right. The Boykin Cemetery will be down a short lane on the left.

There are at least three graves marked by sandstones with no names. There are two graves near the entrance that have no marker of any kind and no information. One grave is simply marked with a wooden plank sticking out of the ground with no information.
